Why did the five companies combine?
Four machine manufacturing companies joined together to bring their long-standing expertise in their respective packaging specialties. Since many customers have a variety of packaging needs, this provided ease in finding the right machine in one place. Converting Technology Inc. joined the group so that PAC Machinery Group could be a "one-stop shop" for our customers by providing bags.
Where are the companies located?
Audion Automation is based in Carrollton, Texas. It is the manufacturing facility for all Audion Automation and Vertrod machines. Vertrod is in San Rafael, CA although the machines are manufactured and shipped out of Carrollton, TX.
Converting Technology Inc. is in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Packaging Aids Corporation is located at corporate headquarters in San Rafael, California located across the bay from San Francisco. All gas flush sealers and form fill seal machines are made here. Clamco is in Cleveland, OH.
How many employees are there?
We have a total of 110 employees in California, Texas, Ohio and Wisconsin. Many of them have been with the companies for over 15 years.
Do you do business internationally?
Yes we do. We ship anywhere in the world. We also have a European affiliate, Audion Elektro B.V. which has distributor networks throughout the world. It is located in Holland. They can be reached at:
